A specialized  “Transportation Carrier eCabinet” has launched in Ukraine. Volodymyr Omelyan, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, stated the above during the presentation of the new electronic service, which was held on August 30, 2018.

"We are implementing initiatives that reduce the role of the officials in the interaction between business and the state: we translate services into electronic format, create convenient services that can be used by both business and citizens. The Transportation carrier's eCabinet will be the only access point for all carriers who work in the transport market, to the administrative services of State Agency for Transport Safety in the electronic form and exclude personal communication between the carrier's and officials", - Volodymyr Omelyan, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine stressed.

The online service was created in cooperation between the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Reform Support Team at the Ministry of Infrastructure, the State Agency for E-Governance and the State Service of Ukraine on Transport Safety, with the support of the USAID / UK aid project "Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services" / TAPAS and the Eastern Europe Foundation, established to simplify carriers' access for obtaining transportation permits and licenses, minimize corruption in this area and to improve safety of passenger transport.
