Volodymyr Omelyan met with representatives of world business
Volodymyr Omelyan, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, met with representatives of world companies within the framework of his visit to the United Kingdom on October 9, 2018.
The Minister met with the management of Hutchison Ports, Greenbrier, Morgan Stanley, Citi Bank, etc.
The parties discussed the prospects of attracting foreign investments to Ukrainian infrastructure projects in the field of rail, air and sea transport.
Volodymyr Omelyan expressed his conviction that despite the results of the election campaigns, Ukraine will clearly follow the course of the implementation of the reforms.
"We have a good dialogue with global business and leading companies in the railway and aviation sectors. Ukraine is open to a world business. We will continue to implement European integration legislation and legislation on the development of public-private partnerships", - the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine emphasized.
Representatives of the world business thanked Volodymyr Omelyan for the open dialogue and transparent policy of the Ministry of infrastructure of Ukraine, and assured in the interest to implement joint projects in the field of transport and infrastructure.
During the meeting, there was reached an agreement, to develop jointly with the British-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce an action plan on logistic transit flows through the territory of Ukraine with the aim of further involving of our state into the global infrastructure projects.
