The Ministry of infrastructure of Ukraine announce the launch of competitive and transparent concession tenders for the seaports of Olvia and Kherson – Vladyslav Kryklii

12 September 2019, 12:45

The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine supports the development of the seaport sector as the main gate of the Ukrainian economy. Concession is one of our key strategies to improve efficiency and attract private investments into the state-owned port assets.

Olvia and Kherson seaports pilot concessions are aimed at showing the market our strong commitment to the partnership with private sector according to the best international standards. This approach is a joint position of the Government and the President, who made a clear statement to hold pilot concession tenders by 1 January 2020.

Today, we are pleased to announce the launch of the competitive and transparent concession tenders for both projects.

The Ministry of Infrastructure encourages all the private investors to participate in these tenders and snatch an opportunity to benefit from the huge growth potential of Ukraine.

The projects were prepared by joint efforts of the team of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, EBRD, IFC, “SPILNO” Project Management Office and the Consortium of International Consultants following the international best practice.

The detailed information about the projects and tender documentation are available in the data-room for candidates via the links:
