Volodymyr Omelyan conducted a series of bilateral meetings within the framework of his visit to the United States

Volodymyr Omelyan, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine met with Mr. Jeffrey A. Rosen, the Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation, Mr. Ron van Ruden,  Head of the IMF mission to Ukraine, official representatives of the US Department of Commerce, congressmen and senators during his visit to the United States.

During the meetings, the parties discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation in the field of transport and infrastructure. Volodymyr Omelyan stressed that the leading world companies, including the US, should be more involved in the implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects in Ukraine: "It is not just an issue of economy and development. This is an issue of geopolitical dimension, reformation of international transport routes. Ukraine should to become a reliable transit state to transport goods from Europe to the countries of Asia and the East. We invite world companies to become allies and partners of Ukraine in this process."

During the visit, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine met with representatives of Fairbanks Morse Engine, Cargill, General Electric Transportation, Greenbrier International.
