The Supervisory Board of Ukrzaliznytsia has decided to start the process for the selection of its new Chairman of the Management Board and appointed Boyden Consultancy to assist it with the task. 

 “We begin the search for a worthy chairman of Ukrzaliznytsia. The Supervisory Board of UZ decided to start the process of competitive selection for the position of chairman of the board of the company. This should be a super-manager with zero tolerance to corruption. To do this, UZ attracted the leading international management recruitment company Boyden. The competition will be open and independent. No outside impact. Equal conditions for all participants. The candidate who proves a high level of competence, clear understanding of the current situation and the work of the UZ, present a perspective vision of the strategic development of Ukrzaliznytsia will win the contest,” Vladyslav Kryklii said.

Sevki Acuner, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board noted the criteria for selecting future candidates: “The winning candidate will be decided on the basis of competency, ability to lead UZ to meet the old, but equally importantly the new challenges UZ is facing to transform the Company to a cost competitive, efficient operator free of corruption, and to lead it in a collegiate and inclusive manner with emphasis on Corporate Governance principles and practices”
