18 March 2021, 09:50

The Government approved the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On signing the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Serbia on air services”.

This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Kryklii.

“Despite the pandemic and the crisis in global aviation, we continue our work to expand the list of countries we cooperate with in air transport, and go through the necessary domestic procedures for future agreements. Today, the Government supported the draft Air Services Agreement with Serbia and by its decision authorized the head of the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine Oleksandr Bilchuk to sign it from the Ukrainian side,” the Minister stressed.

According to the Minister, the conclusion of the aforesaid Agreement will create a bilateral legal framework necessary for regular air services between Ukraine and Serbia. This, in turn, will help intensify bilateral ties, establish and expand effective bilateral economic relations, and liberalize the air transportation market between the two countries.

It should be recalled that on November 5, 2020, the Verkhovna Rada ratified the Protocol on Air Services between Ukraine and Qatar.
