Today, March 24, at its sitting the Government approved the draft Law of Ukraine “On ratification of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Moldova on air services” and the relevant draft order of the Cabinet of Ministers on ratification by the Verkhovna Rada.

This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Kryklii.

“Ukraine is interested in developing mutually beneficial relations with Moldova and liberalizing air services between our countries. We are currently completing all the necessary domestic procedures to ratify the relevant Air Services Agreement. This will not only liberalize the air transportation market between the states, but also improve the procedure for regulating scheduled air transportation, eliminate possible restrictions on the number of flights, provide for commercial aspects of airlines and move from the tariff approval procedure to the tariff monitoring procedure,” the Minister said.

It should also be recalled that on March 18, at its meeting the Government supported the opening of the regular air service with Serbia.
