It is a five-story apartment building in  Irpin. In March 2022, russians fired incendiary shells at the building. All the apartments on the fifth floor burned to the ground. Another part of the apartments was burned down due to tank shelling.

The cost of repairs amounted to UAH 77.79 million. The reconstruction of the building was based on the principle of Build Back Better. The renovation project included, among other things, the restoration of walls and ceilings, roofs, and windows, replacement of windows and doors, restoration of facade walls and their insulation, restoration of the sewage and water supply systems, repair of the heating system, and interior decoration of apartments.

Thanks to the project, 325 residents will return to their apartments. The project card is available on DREAM.

The reconstruction of 18 houses within the framework of the “Reconstruction of Ukraine” program began in January 2023 in the Kyiv region: in Irpin, Borodianka, Hostomel, and the villages of Buzova and Myla of the Dmytrivska community. Upon completion of the reconstruction, more than 4,000 residents of these communities will be able to return to their homes.

Thanks to UNITED24 donors from 110 countries, more than UAH 720 million has been raised to rebuild homes. The reconstruction is also partially funded by the state budget and contributions from local authorities and residents of these houses, who began restoration work immediately after the liberation of the Kyiv region.
