“The Ministry of Infrastructure together with international partners continues to work on the preparation of priority concession projects for the state in the maritime sector in accordance with best practices. The International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) have recently started the selection of a legal advisor to work on the feasibility study and tender documentation for both concession projects in the Chornomorsk Sea Port, namely, the first and container concession projects, as well as the railway and ferry complex. Also, our partners will soon choose the technical consultant to provide professional support for these concession projects," Vladyslav Kryklii said.

It should be mentioned that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Finance Corporation have expressed its readiness to assist in preparing feasibility studies and tender documents for concession projects in the Chornomorsk Sea Port, resulting saving public funds and implementation of these projects as soon as possible.

Concession projects of the first and container terminals, as well as the ferry complex of the State Enterprise ICC "Chornomorsk" are included in the List of priority investment projects for the state until 2023, approved by the Government. The Ministry of Infrastructure preliminarily plans to announce tenders for concession projects at the Chornomorsk ICC by the end of this year.
